River Ridge Subdivision

An upcoming community by Etowah Land Partners (ELP). Mike Gerrell, president of Trench, Inc. is 1/3 equal part owner of ELP. The project is located in Canton Georgia, just north of exit 20 of highway 575. River Ridge subdivision will consist of 200 residential homes. Trench, Inc. is being contracted by ELP to handle all aspects of the development. From project design, clearing and grading to pipework and infrastructure, this project is our most ambitious to date. The project is phase one of a master development plan consisting of both multifamily, single family, commercial and public spaces. This development is a hometown passion project of Mike’s, and is just the tip of the iceberg. With a tentative 1,200 more residential homes currently planned for, this project is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Trench, Inc. to lay the foundation for the next several generations in our home town.

Legends at Laurel Canyon

A luxury garden style apartment complex located in Canton, Ga. Trench, Inc.’s sitework package contained the site clearing, grading, utilities, sanitary pump station, erosion control management, modular site walls, concrete site walls (including DOT spec walls), structural building walls, sidewalk and curbing. This project’s overall contract valued at over $4M and includes almost all our possible scopes of development. This 25 acre site required in excess of 200,000 CY of dirt, rip rock and blast rock to be moved onsite. Due to design changes during the project, we were required to haul off an excess of nearly 30,000 CY of materials. Trench, Inc. managed subcontractors for all site walls, concrete and curb work.

Gwinnett Crossing

A luxury garden style apartment complex located in Suwanee, Ga. Trench, Inc.’s sitework package contained the site clearing, grading, utilities, erosion control management, hauling off unsuitable materials and specialized bio-retention ponds. This project’s overall contract valued at over $1.5M. This 18 acre site required 60,000 CY of materials to move on site, some mass and trench rock blasting was also required. This project was one of the first in Gwinnett County to feature modern bio-retention ponds. The bio-retention ponds required specialized engineered soils to be installed in lifts with proper vegetation to support wet pond ecosystem.

Aspire Westside

A luxury multifamily apartment complex located in Atlanta, Ga. Trench, Inc’s sitework package contained the site clearing, grading, utilities, erosion control management, hauling off unsuitable materials, hauling off of lead impacted waste and installation of underground stormwater management systems. This project’s overall contract valued at over $1M. This 5 acre site required approximately 6,000 CY of lead impacted waste to be disposed of in coordination with hazardous waste facilities. This site includes an ADS Stormtech Chamber underground stormwater retention facility with a capacity of 17,000 CF as well as a Hydro International Downstream Defender water quality control unit.

Breckinridge Oaks

Breckinridge Oaks, a luxury senior living apartment complex located in Duluth, Ga. Trench, Inc’s sitework package contained the site clearing, grading, utilities, erosion control management, hauling off excess materials and installation of underground stormwater management systems. This project’s overall contract valued at over $1M. This 5 acre site required multiple large scale underground detention units valued at over $300K and haul off of 7,500 CY of suitable fill materials. Trench, Inc. was able to work on multiple UGD systems in tandem allowing this project to be completed six weeks ahead of schedule.
